We had a fantastic response to our call for entries for the staff exhibition in 2008 with over 1500 images being submitted.
We selected images form all of the staff entries and these have been used for exhibitions that are being screened in both waiting areas in Outpatients and outside the main lifts on our reception floor, level 6.
The images are also being used on the wards as they have been integrated into the patient information boards. These panels serve two purposes, firstly to enhance the patient environment and secondly to assist with wayfinding, especially for some of our more elderly and confused patients.
The feedback from both patients and staff has been very positive and we are now looking for more images to be submitted so that we can extend our programme across more of the hospital.
